Software Engineer II

Pegasystems

Built and shipped enterprise automation features in C#/.NET and TypeScript for robotic process automation workflows used by customers across 10+ business sectors. Owned feature design and implementation throughout the whole SDLC from requirements through release, partnering with product, QA, and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing enhancements. Performed code reviews and helped maintain engineering quality across shared codebases.

  • Developed AI-powered Autopilot capability in robotics automation application that reduced manual automation-building time and reduced customer workload by 20%.
  • Extended AI-powered Autopilot to support legacy text emulators, enabling AI-assisted robotic automation for decades-old terminal-based systems still used in enterprise environments.
  • Delivered features across the robotics automation desktop application and Web Extension Installer, improving automation workflow reliability and usability.
  • Integrated third-party applications and environments, including browsers, Electron, Citrix, CEF, legacy text emulators, Flash, and Java, expanding automation compatibility for enterprise customers.
  • Independently led the design and development of an internal agentic engineering dashboard with MCP server integration, prompt engineering, and GitHub Copilot CLI to accelerate development, testing, and delivery of AI-powered features.
  • Owned the HTML Events feature from prototype to production, collaborating with the Product Manager and UI team to enable users to trigger specific events before and after control actions during automation.
  • Worked collaboratively with engineering teammates to design and deliver browser multi-profile support for Chrome and Edge, enabling automations to run across multiple user profiles.

Associate Software Engineer

Pegasystems

Contributed to robotic automation tooling and developer experience improvements as part of the Pega Robot Studio engineering team.

  • Developed a local Citrix simulation tool, enabling developers to test and debug robotic automation applications without depending on live Citrix infrastructure.
  • Created matching eye icon indicating that a control was matched to a target in our robotic automation application, giving users a clear understanding that a control was able to be used for automation.
June 2017 - May 2020

Software Engineer Intern

Pegasystems

Contributed across installer tooling and legacy platform support while building strong engineering fundamentals in a production environment.

  • Added features to Web Extension Installer using C# and TypeScript that made it easier for users to determine how an installation may have failed and allowed users to install specific builds.
  • Created translators for Flash/Flex using ActionScript and FlashDevelop.
  • Worked in a production engineering environment with source control, command-line tooling, and sprint-based development.
May 2019 - August 2019

Software Engineer Intern

ADP

Built a proof of concept for a next-generation messaging platform using React, Java, microservices, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and MongoDB to support multichannel customer notifications.

    August 2017 - December 2017

    Software Engineer Intern

    Shaw Industries

Plant 54 | Collaborative Innovation Manufacturing — owned work across web apps, embedded projects, and experimental systems.

    • Developed a dependency-tracking website using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and Aurelia.
    • Created Facial Recognition Lock using Python and Raspberry Pi.
    • Worked on and led other co-ops during the LED improvement process using C/C++ and Arduino.
    January 2017 - April 2017

    Software Engineer Intern

    Shaw Industries

Plant IS | Business Intelligence — analyzed data and built reporting tools for the call center.

    • Created QlikView app for Call Center to take in data, and analyzed data in R.
    • Used Visual Studio, C#, and Teradata to build data table views for business intelligence reporting.
    Projects

Proof that I can turn ideas into a reality.

A strong portfolio should show taste, execution, and range. These projects are positioned to show all three.
